We'd like to announce a new release of several Enlightenment components. This release synchronizes all EFL released to have a consistent version of 1.7 for easier tracking and management. Please read the NEWS and README files in each release tarball for information on what has changed, been fixed or added. This release also corresponds with SVN revision number 75861.
We'd also like to take the opportunity to point out that in November we will have our first ever EFL Developer Day. It is a co-located event as part of Linuxcon Europe. Please come along and take the time to meet the developers and other users. We also hope to have released Enlightenment 0.17 by then.
From this point we will begin to merge EFL into a single source tree, so in future releases we will release just a single EFL source tree and build to make life easier for packagers and developers. Our source repositor will soon begin migrating to this new structure, so be aware that this may create problems with patches.
