Some of you may be anticipating that I would start to copy and paste the text of previous snapshot releases. To those people I say: NOT ON MY WATCH! This time, in addition to featuring the usual improvements of LESS CRASHING and IMPROVEMENTS TO NOT CRASHING, I'm pleased to announce some other changes, though this is not in any way a comprehensive list, and not all the changes were made by me:

  • DND Week! Drag-n-drop improvements everywhere including:
  • Dragging from other applications into EFM
  • Dragging gadgets from shelf to desktop
  • Dragging gadgets from desktop to shelf
  • Autoscrolling during DND in filemanager
  • Mixer-related crashes reduced by 32.33%
  • Spring-loaded folders in filemanager
  • Overhaul of filemanager menu system
  • Filemanager will no longer break your cpu when navigating directories with lots of .avi files
