We'd like to announce a new release of several Enlightenment components. This release is bug fix only of our 1.7 branches. As we will base Enlightenment 17 release on the 1.7 branches, we strongly encourage packager to package this branch and report any issue. In general we do encourage our community to highly test this release on their preferred distribution to improve the quality and help every one enjoy Enlightenment 17 release.
Please read the ChangeLog and NEWS in each release tarball to know what has been fixed. This release corresponds with SVN revision number 78286 and you will find them in our branch.
We'd also like to take the opportunity to point out that in November we will have our first ever EFL Developer Day. It is a co-located event as part of Linuxcon Europe. Please come along and take the time to meet the developers and other users.
